Their are many car donors who prefer to cut out the middleman, and donate their car directly to their charity of choice, as in this case 100% of the proceeds acquired from the selling of the donated vehicle, would go directly to the car charity.

This is much better than using a middleman, as this could decrease the amount of funds that goes to the car charity. That being said, their are car donation 3rd parties that donate a high percentage of the proceeds received to car charities, and offer extra incentives to car donors.

Many car donation programs offer incentives to car donors as away to get the car donor to donate their vehicle to their program, and to show a thank you. Their are some programs that offer incentives such as 5 day free vacations and gift vouchers for groceries or restaurants. Just to name a few.

While these may be great reasons to donate a car, what may be the most important reasons, is the fact that your car donation can really help charities keep their causes going, as these charitable organizations can always use funds to help others who may be in need of charitable support. The IRS allows a car donor to claim up to $500 for a donated vehicles, however, if your vehicle sells at a car auction once donated, you then would be able to claim more if your vehicle was sold more than $500.
